 Essay #1

"Have you ever visited the botanical garden in Thimphu?" Visiting the garden during early spring is magnificent rather mesmerizing than beautiful. The first time I entered the garden I  felt a gloomy feeling filled with happiness and calmness. Just visiting that place for one day, I learned many information about the flowers, herbs, and trees. The garden was away from the city making the environment lively and peaceful.

Early in the morning my family and  I packed our lunches and got ready for the new day. We went to botanical garden in our car. When we reached the area, I was already mesmerized by its beauty. The nature were still green surrounded by hard working bees. I walked on the footpath where I encountered many greenhouse. Everyone had a smile implanted on their faces. We came across a small cabin where it provided stunning view of the mountains.

Me and my cousin got our cameras ready so we can go and explore the place. First we came across a small flower garden. We took some pictures of a pink flower which was a herb that could drink as tea. There was a small swing in the children's park. I forced my cousin to ride the swing. I pushed the swing hard which almost sent her flying in the air. When she got off she looked like she just came out of a horror movie. She was ignoring me, I felt a little guilty so I apologized for making her terrified, which she surprisingly forgave me.

After some  few hours of exploring the place me and my cousin went back back to eat lunch. We wanted fir our parents to finish drinking so we all could ear. They were taking awhile to finish drinking so, for the time being me and my cousin sat on the small boulders near the cabin . My cousin. Was looking through the pictures we've taken so far, while I was just sitting and doing nothing like a log. The sky was filled delicious looking clouds. The adults finally called us to eat and my cousin and I ran like crazy. The food looked like they came out of the magazine. We were all having our lunch laughing, the atmosphere filled with joy.

Having a picnic at botanical garden was like a dream come true. It's an unforgettable memory which will last for a long time. I got to see everyone having a bright smile on their face as they spent time with their loved ones. Seeing everyone so happy made me feel at ease. Hence I will cherish and never forget those moment since we don't get to experience them everyday.

Since I was younger I had a great interest in drawing. It seems like when I draw or sketch I feel at peace, it can be difficult at first but having alot of practice I've gotten better despite all the frustration I've got due to it. I'd say paintings was the most difficult thing for me as I needed to learn how to blend, detailing, colour theory and etc. I also share a great interest in watching anime. In my opinion Studio Ghibli would have one of the greatest animation and storyline. My top 3 favourite anime is Demon Slayer, Tokyo Revengers and Attack on titan.

My favourite colour is orange since it reminds me of the fruit orange, well the fruit orange is also my favourite! I love how juicy the orange is when you eat it. I also love eating momo especially the cheese momo, filled with delicious veggies in it.

It's one of my many dreams to open my own art gallery in the future, who knows it might not happen or it might, the future for me could be dark or beautiful, well it's all in my hands to decide as my life itself is a journey full of obstacles. It's not like I am alone, i have my friends and family to support and help me.
